BELLA STEVIE!

"FREELANCE JUNGLE"

Freelance Jungle from Jacopo Mastrangelo on Vimeo.

The Freelance Jungle video project stems from the need to describe the conditions and difficulties of those taking their first steps into the world of visual communication.
This need is expressed in the illustration of a metaphorical jungle in which artists are forced to live expressing their potential in increasingly restricted contexts.
The sequence of pictures of this illustration follows its evolution from conception and initial draft, through studies of the characters up to the finishing and digital inking of the final version.
The flow of descriptive frames is accompanied by an imaginary character which is a sort of mascot of the project, brought in to watch the work and bring good luck ...!

Special thanks to my friends Lorenzo Fornaciari (subject) and Ryan Lovelock.
